On our recent family get away to Santa Monica, we stumbled upon this great burger place in West Hollywood. O Burger prides itself on a 100% organic menu. Going out to eat can be a challenge for our family, my expectations are fresh, local if possible organic food (as I eat a lot of greens as a vegetarian) and my three boys are complete carnivores and LOVE their meat. So finding a place that offers it all is like hitting the jackpot. Really, a burger place which offers a vegetarian burger option not made from soy and questionable side ingredients? Yes, they’ve got it all at O Burger, they even craft their own veggie patty made from spinach, corn, carrots, peas and cucumber slices, and let me tell you it was finger licking good. Next to the classics, the menu is filled with sides like salads, (beyond the classic greens), shakes and they have even added low-carb options. The ambiance is very hip and inviting. On a hot day, the cool interior is welcome, but outdoor seating is also a pleasant option. Another plus for eco parents is the reduced waste impact. O Burger thinks green and offers napkins only when asked for, paper bags to go instead of a whole styrofoam containers, and the drinks came without straws! We applaud your efforts O Burger and our kids already asked when we can go back! See you soon!
